So, every semester, there's bound to be a period of 2 to 3 weeks where I just feel the stress is too much to bear. I get it twice every semester. These 2 weeks is the 1st of this semester. So wheee.

BUT, I feel great today. Because today was productive. Because today I get to down coffee like nobody's business. I feel so blissful that I'm humming random songs when I'm doing laundry. I usually curse, mind you.

And then, one sms is all it takes. Some people are just plain dumb. Now this is how I feel.

Probably shouldn't let stupid things bother me too much. Puckers.

Credits to Natalie and that Liverpool's Number 9. I feel all better now.

Oh and thank God for Nando! We got a 3 points and a clean sheet. Now lads, build on that, please. And we CANNOT sell Xabi. It was shite before he came on and provided Nando the great pass that led to the goal apparently. Under normal circumstances, goal scorer ran to the player who provides pass. But no, Nando ran towards our captain. Surprise, surprise. Tsk tsk, poor Xabi.

This look so WRONG. But oh, no worries, they are just picking up from where they left off last season.

And if anyone shall be the hero of our nation this month since it's Merdeka month and all, it should be Chong Wei. At least he made it this far. Well done, lad.

Green is bad, real bad.
Thursday, August 14, 2008 9:22 PM

So, just done the Computer Law paper. I'm telling you that control freak is nuts. 1st he said we can bring the Copyright Act for reference, and when we brought it into the venue, he started shouting, "No Copyright Act! I said in class! No Act!". Maybe he did but as usual no one gets a words that coming out from his mouth. Bugger, his mood swing is worse than any woman during PMS. What the puck. Say earlier so we no need to bring the book.

Anyway, the season opener(in Europe at least) was last night/this morning. Totally forgot that we were playing until Darren messaged me this afternoon. I confidently replied, "Oh yeah, what's the results? But I guess shouldn't be a problem right?" Since we were quite ok in pre-seasons, and since we are playing against Standard Liege. Yeah, Standard who? But apparently we played like headless chickens and drew the match goalless. Could have been worse, Pepe saved a penalty gave away by Dossena.(good work mate, good work.) The thread for the match at RAWK is titled, "End of the world as we know it". Really meh? So bad ar? In a way, yes, we have to beat them 2nd leg in Anfield or we are DEAD. But the power of thinking positively: the stats say Liege is a good team at home. Only lost 3 last season. So we can't be that bad. And it's a season opener, and our performance is always like that beginning of the season. So, things can't be that bad. And THEN, you see people saying stuff like "I've never seen us play this poorly" and complete with a picture of Rafa yelling at the lads with the caption, "Never seen Rafa like this before." Had to agree with the guy on that. Never seen him like that.

Oh, I HATE THE GREEN(is it even green?) EUROPEAN AWAY JERSEY. Just so you know.

Even Nando manage to look hideous in it. *Gasp* Agger just look mean.

Compared the Agger in that squad picture(top row 3rd from left), with this picture taken in Oslo.

Daniel Aggadorableness, no?

I'm (almost) computer illiterate
Thursday, August 7, 2008 3:07 PM

So, I have a new header. Hoorayyy! It's from Ru, of Scouspaniards, i.e the Spaniards of Liverpool. Xabi, Nando and Pepe. I freaking love the look of it!

Got it from Ru last night and tried to put it on my blog this morning. So, it's 3 something now. I haven't manage to get the header look right. Tried everything. Even googled "how to upload blog header".

I AM SO DUMB.

This blog template is temporary until I figure out how to get things right. (Read: I need help, por favor.)

Of a stolen meme and the rest.
Tuesday, July 15, 2008 11:23 PM

I'm restless the entire day for no apparent reason. And people are being total a-holes today(Sara said I should practice censored swearing, but I don't guarantee it will become a practice). 1st of all, the damn university. Because of their ruling which the reason is obviously to get more of my parents hard earned money, I have to sit through a whole semester of Malaysian Studies lectures AGAIN. And nope, I did not fail my paper earlier. And yes, I'm restraining from swearing right here, right now. And 2nd-ly, Hitz. I feel for you, Sylvia. But cheer up girl, all's not lost. I'll see you this Saturday and we shall try our best at the road show.

Besides that, watched the last 30 minutes of the much anticipated debate. I have to say, for a person who's expecting it to be like the debate on West Wing between Santos and the other guy(can't remember his name, starts with V is it?), it's totally disappointing. Debate like this is all about convincing people and in the process of doing so, I accept the fact that there will be a certain degree of lying done by both parties. But the lies that we are hearing from our beloved minister is his closing statement especially, is ridiculous. I have only one reply to his "mengagung-agungkan"(does this word even exist?) Malaysia statement, that is "YEAH RIGHTTT."

And here's a meme I stole from Maria over at LiveJournal and also from Winnie. Unlike most of the memes out there, this is actually quite fun.

Ok, I'm supposed to take a picture of my bag, and take out all the items inside, arrange them, take a picture of it, and then talk about the bag each item in details. So here goes.

This is my recently purchased super cheap bag from Melaka Mall. I love the fact that I can dump everything inside and I don't have to worry about it getting dirty since it's black.

Ok, the stuff inside.

1) Books. The Sudoku puzzle book which I can't live without nowadays. And Paulo Coelho's The Alchemist, which I blogged about in my last entry.

2) The Rosary which I carry in my bag all the time. When you stay in the apartment I'm staying, carrying something like that with you all the time is essential. And I'm not the most superstitious person in the world.

3) The handphone. This is my 3rd one and I love this the most. Even though it can't play wma files albeit it being a walkman phone.

4) My pencil case for classes(I have another huge ass one which is too heavy to bring it around campus and there's like a million of pens inside which I don't use, so yeah). Been using this since secondary school, I think it was Form 2? It is ancient.

5) On top of it, the keys. With all 3 key chains on it from Australia!(It's a fact that I just realised!) The blue kangaroo one from Siew Mee from her Aussie trip; the grey one behind the kangaroo is the Nike Melbourne one from Andrew which I got it way back in 2002 when we went over to Aussie; and the swan shape one from Wunnie on my birthday last year.

6) The Gatsby Oil Clear Sheets which I don't really use it anymore. Panadols. Body Shop lip balm which taste like chocolate, and Skin Food lip gloss which I have been using since forever. I can't seem to finish it!

7) My mini mirror and comb which my brother goes "yewwww" because it says "Cool Cat" behind the mirror complete with a bloody ugly cat. It's the cheapest on display so who cares lol.

8) The iPod and my favourite key chain attached to the pouch. The Australian Open mini tennis ball key chain from Wunnie! It's a real tennis ball, and it bounces. And my brother loves bouncing it cause it gets on my nerves whenever he does that. Urgh. Brothers I tell you.

9) Pen drive and my latest obsession when it comes to sweets. Ricola's.

10) My fake Esprit purse which is red in colour. The Liverpool red. Heheh.

I'm not tagging anyone, but if you want to do it just go ahead. It'll be interesting to see what's in your bag! =p

Ohh, I know it all!!!
Saturday, June 21, 2008 10:53 PM

And that would be Mr. Halim Said of New Straits Time. Check out his review of TC5 concert in Genting on Sylvia's blog.

I've had enough. People writing them off before even listening to them. Just because they are effing good looking. And to have a professional reporter doing it too. This ticks me off.

Mr. Halim said the guys failed to connect. Said they need to work on their interpersonal skill.
Mr. Halim said Kyle's voice was drawn out and he was croaking.
What pissed me off the most is the way he writes is so "this fucking band knows shite about music" and "all they've got is a bunch of shrieking fans who are equally dumb".

Well, 1st of all, Mister, when you do a review, you make sure the song titles are correct. And at that, you failed. Do your homework.

And the guys failed to connect? Let's put you up there in front of a VIP area which consists of teenagers, young adults, and ADULTS(parents, no joke. yawning in their seats) accompanying their kids. On top of that, NO standing, NO banners. When the crowds are spread out like that, yeah you try to connect, Mr. Halim. It's a fucking rock concert.

Kyle was croaking? Because he was sick dumbass. Again, do your homework.

And the way he wrote the whole article is just like the way half of the music listening population talk about The Click Five. Writing them off before even giving them a listen. Just because of their image. It doesn't mean the music is not good. Obviously this Mister here don't know better and so are half of the music listening population. The difference is, Mr. Halim here is doing it as a professional and that shouldn't be allowed.

What I am doing here may sound like a die-hard fan defending her favorite band or as Mr. Halim put it, whatever wrong the guys do "it hardly matter to their adoring fans". But seriously, I'm more pissed off with the fact that people writing them off all the time than the way some know-it-all did his review of the concert. For God's sake, he can't even get the song title correct and he judged the show by the starting 15 minutes. So, it indicates how good he is with his job to begin with. He probably is already prejudiced before the guys even got on stage. And oh, saying that they need to improve on their interpersonal skills on newspapers is personal attack, Mr. Halim. Maybe I should forward the review to Wayne or Dave.

If I could make someone dead with my mind.
Friday, June 20, 2008 11:07 AM

It would be whoever responsible for this bloody Internet connection! For the whole day yesterday, I couldn't access any website. Hence no blogging, no spamming on cbox, no facebook-ing and NO daily footie news! This fucktards of a connection I'm tell you!

Went out with Sara and Rachel yesterday after our partially canceled Criminal Law lecture. First time meeting Rachel and I'm really glad we get along well! Haha lots of common topics I guess. She's a really really nice girl. Watched Made of Honour with them and the movie was quite good. Well, when there is McDreamy, it is bound to be good! Heheh.

Woohoooo Portugal is OUT of Euro!(sorry winnie) I seriously do not like Gay C. Ron! Urghh, but no, I must refrain from laughing at other people's exit at least until Spain beat the gaytalians. Vamos Espana!

I soo want to go Panic's concert on Aug 4. So I need to either pray that I have reallyy good luck to win some tickets from the radio station or I need to start saving NOW. I think the latter is more practical, yes?

Tuesday, June 17, 2008 3:36 PM

the unexpected meeting which shocked en she at Hard Rock last year.

That guy there, is officially the luckiest person on earth in my book.

Imagine, I came back to the room at about 3smth, all exhausted and hot(bloody weather!) from running freaking errands around the campus and at Ixora management, Sylvia told me this over MSN.

Remember Jin? Kok Jin?(yeshh, of course I remember him and En She my cousin knows why the best) He bumped into Ethan in Bali while buying snacks.

OMFG. WTF. Buying snacks! At a mini markettttt. And we had to wait at the airport for almost 12 hours!

Damn bug.
Wednesday, June 11, 2008 8:58 PM

There's travel bug. Once you got bitten by it, you want to travel constantly. Like Sara. Like Siew Mee. (welcome home girls, bet Australia was fun!)

But a concert bug? I want to see a concert so badly now. Any concert. Click were just amazing the other day. I woke up to the image of Joe kneeling on stage mouthing the keys. Damnnn. This hang-over is starting to get annoying now.

I feel so empty. Gahhhh. I feel deprived. Click deprived. *runs off to get my iPod*

Can I join you in crushing the nuts?
Friday, May 30, 2008 12:56 PM

Ru, can I join you in crushing the nuts? Yeah, TMNUTS.

For 2 days now the connection has been shite. I think it's karma Gordon, for laughing at your connection. So, I have to call up those nuts at TM. And I don't know whether they are dumb or dumb, I have to repeat the same thing until I'm bored of myself. And they still don't get it. Which part of "I can't access to the Internet." is so hard to understand?

So finally, they found the problem. And they are supposed to fix it, no? This particular nuts claimed that she has fixed the problem, asked me to off my modem, off my lappie, off the main switch(oi, you sure it's this serious?) and restart everything in 2 minutes. BUT, after I off everything and restart like she told me in all professional tone, guess what, it still doesn't work.

So I have to call again and after they put me on hold forever, finally someone picked up the damn phone and has trouble understanding what's wrong again. Best part is, I asked her why the heck is that I keep experiencing this problem, since it's 2 days in a row now I have to call them up. Apparently, my modem port is corrupted(what the heck is that?) or someone is using our connection. So I pointed out to her NO, it's password protected. She says "well, if people know your password, wouldn't be a problem". I said NO, it's within the family. I'm the ONLY one using it right now. She went all silent on me. So I asked, let's say it's the modem problem, my port is corrupted somehow, so how do I overcome this problem?

Here is what she says "er...actually...err...section hang is very small problem...(at this point I cut in and asked how do I overcome the corrupted port problem again)actually...it's TM's problem...every time it happen you just call and we will delete the section..."

Yeah, DAMN RIGHT IT'S YOUR PROBLEM. Don't go telling me my port is corrupted or some phantom user is using my account. Bloody hell. I seriously need to get hold of some groundnuts and crush it. All this angst are still inside me for trying my level best to not shout at them over the phone. Gahhh.

Looks like beside getting use to the uber fast connection at home after dialed up is done away, I also need to get use to dealing with nuts.

Zero doesn't exist. Apparently.
Tuesday, May 20, 2008 3:36 AM

I have been really interested in learning Spanish for as long as I can remember. So you can imagine how my love and desire for the language got stronger (chey, are we talking about Spanish here? like some love affair only) when Rafa took over the club and brought on board bunch of Spanish speaking players. Lucky enough for me, I got to know tonnes of Spanish speakers, be it online or backpackers. Every time I told them my intention to learn Spanish or asked for translation for certain things, the reaction I get is always along the line of, "dios mio(my god)! I'm so impressed you want to learn my language!" and a string of reassurance. "don't worry, Spanish is easy. It's easier than English. It's muchh more easier than Chinese. You can master it if you know Chinese blah blah blah." Heck, Fernando even told Sara and I that we can invent our own words when we don't know a word in Spanish cause according to him Spanish words are similar to the English ones so we can get it right most of the time. Uhm, perdone me, how is "ingresa" and "enter" similar? and what about "rojo" and "red"? If I were to create a Spanish word that means "red", I would go for "redo", and for "enter" I would go for "entero". So, I can foresee a lot of "que?" and "perdone me" if I were to use those self-created words in a Spanish conversation.

And when I took the Spanish for beginners course offered by the uni, we all know we are doomed 2nd class into the semester. How is a lecturer who think the plural for "shoes" is "shoeses" and goes "I know my English!" when we corrected him be able to communicate with us, let alone teach us. For god's sake, his way of saying "why? you can't see the board?" is "Why? you no eyes?". Anyway, 4 months after the class, I put whatever I learn to test a few hours back. And....

I was in a Spanish music forum wanted to download this particular album but apparently registration is required. So, I started filling up the form. I took me less than 2 minutes to type all my details down and enter the verification code. You know the alphabets and numbers which they asked you to enter just to make sure that you are not a robot. And after I click enter, it keeps telling me that the information I sent is incorrecto. I tried quite a number of times and it's the same. So I checked everything. Refreshing the page and etc etc etc. And then I decided to translate the form word by word, at least whatever that I manage to guess the meaning. Minimum characters for passwords, correct. Characters not allowed for user name, didn't use. Everything also correct!! What the hell did I do wrong? If it's not 2 in the morning, I would have started screaming at that point of the time already.

Then I saw it. At the very last part of the form. Just a line after they told me "enter the code and it doesn't matter whether it is capital letters or otherwise".

Por favor nota que el cero no existe

(Please take note that zero does not exists)

And I pandai-pandai go and type every 'O' I see in the code as cero. It took me more than one freaking hour to register on a forum. This is ridiculous.

Who told me that Spanish is not tough? Gahhhhhh. Or maybe I'm just too dumb?

I wasn't thinking.
Tuesday, May 13, 2008 4:57 PM

Damn. I think I made a really big fool out of myself. Gahhhh. It's ok. He's too busy to read anyway. But damn he does check his facebook. Ok, the subject of the message will be so boring that he won't even open it. What on earth was I thinking when I sent it?! Wait, I wasn't thinking at all. What do you expect after 3 hours of writing about rights and liberties, and almost 2 hours of talking with friends in Witchery which takes as much energy?

A lot of people seems to be doing something without thinking nowadays.

Summertime, summertime...NOT.
Monday, May 12, 2008 10:24 PM

The Constitutional Law paper went NOT ok. Not enough time at all. But, what's done is done, putting it behind me now. 4 more papers to go, and I'm done.

Siew Mee told me something before the paper. And yeap, it's injustice. I don't know what I would've done in that situation. But, babe, here's 2 songs for you. It's something I listen to whenever I feel that life's being a bitch. Walk On by U2 and Don't Give Up by Pater Gabriel and Kate Bush. Put those 2 songs on your playlist, along with "You'll Never Walk Alone", play it on loop and you'll feel much better. Hope it helps and be strong girl!

By the way, this song is like seriously stuck in my head right now. The album version of Summertime by The Click Five. So much better than the acoustic version they did at the Blue Room. Showcasing Kyle's voice are better done with songs like Empty and Mary Jane, but not with this song. Thank god they came out with the album version. Heck, I guess if I'm in a country with summer, then this is really the right time for that song lol! It's so pop-ish that I just can't get it out of my head.

Off to study now. TRY to I mean. Tried and just can't get anything into my head.
