Look away if sports is not your thing.
Monday, August 4, 2008 12:15 AM

That's right. It's all about sports lol.

Alrighty. F1. It was a great day for the Finns at Budapest, Hungary. Heikki claiming the 1st, and Kimi the 3rd. Besides Kimi finishing 3rd despite staring from 6th, my personal highlight of the race, is Massa's car frying up just 3 laps to go, and the camera just cut to the podium and back to his car again. So, from leading the race, to out of it. Steve Slater went, "so close yet so far". I went "Yesshhhhh!!!!" I'm sorry, but I hate that guy. And as a result, Heikki got his 1st champion and credit to him, superb driving throughout the race. While all the attention are on Hammy, he proves that he can deliver as well. Timo Glock is a happy man in 2nd place too. His 1st podium finish. Although he might need a little more guidance on where and how to get to the podium after he got out of the car. That guy freaking walked past the door that leads to the podium lounge until some guy had to direct him back to the door lol. And at the post race press conference, these 2 lads looked beyond excited but Kimi looked bored. Says it all. Just 5 points behind Hammy Drivers Championship Board. The title race is anything but over. Hyvaa Kimi!

Glock, Heikki, Kimi

The Finns on the podium

Watched the pre-season friendly against Rangers on Saturday. We slaughtered them 4-0! Nando, N'gog, Yossi and Xabi were all on the score sheet! N'gog looks promising. And Dossena is not bad too. Ok, I might like him afterall. The reserve lads were good too. Especially Nemeth. Hmmphh, out future number 1o maybe? Only watched the match from 2nd half onwards, so I can't say much about the Nando + Keane partnership. But, one thing I know for sure is that, AGGER IS BACK. He was on towards the end of 2nd half, and boy, we missed him last season. The run and the tackles. All I can say is 'welcome back Danny!'

So, introducing Robbie Keane. Our new signing from Spurs and Nando's new striking partner.

We all know that ever since the arrival of Nando last season, the people at RAWK had all gone bonkers. Creating Nando worshipping thread and coming up with gay pairings within the squad. If you think the Agger love on the forum is sick, all the Nando love set new height. Last season, it's all about Stevie and Nando. Xabi was left all alone.

And this is their latest game, along with captions like "Stevie won't be happy" and "That is twice in a couple of days they are caught holding hands".

Let the love triangle begin!

By the way, I still hate the grey jerseys. It's gay, it's fugly. No wonder the Adidas store at Dataran Pahlawan only stock up ONE shirt. Adidas has lost it. As if the grey away shirt did not enough damage, the bring us this.

The European Champions League away kit. Green with black collar. Wheee. The only favour they have done us this season is the home kit and the polo shirt which the lads have been wearing a lot lately. Would love to get my hands on the polo.

Degen aka Joker. He smile while he runs. No joke.

Xabi and the sex stare.

Exhaust problem?!
Sunday, June 22, 2008 10:51 PM

Looks like Kimi's bad spell has begun. Every season, he's bound to find himself in a phase like this. Exhaust problem?! Oh god. 1st the mistake at Monaco, then Lewis "oh I didn't see the red light" Hamilton in Monaco, and then exhaust problem in France today. He's 3rd in the drivers' championship 5 points behind the leader Massa(gosh, i hate the sound of this!) and 3 points behind Kubica who's in 2nd. Oh great, things are getting interesting race by race it seems.

Anyway, was at home for the weekend. Didn't really plan to go back but since dad is passing by Melaka on the way home from Genting, so decided to follow him home. And I'm glad I did. Met up with bunch of old friends from secondary school on Saturday and it has been ages since I talk to them proper. All we did was sat in McD and talk for hours catching up. Then later FM spent the night at my place so and we were watching Elliot Minor and TC5 clips and listened to lots of songs together. So, it was just like the old days.

For those who are going off to uni soon, all the best! I'm really going to miss Ah Miao. That woman is going off to Sabah! God knows when will I see her again! Take care you people! Time really flies, those days when we were in school and live the days without a single worry seems like yesterday.

Speaking of good luck, well, here's to Spain for the match against Italy later tonight! Won't be watching it since the class is at 10am tomorrow but you bet I'll be rooting for them all the same. Vamos Espana! Let's get into the semis and I do not care what class or shite, I'm going to watch it.

As the motto on their official team bus reads "pase lo pase, Espana siempre!"(no matter what, Spain forever)

I'm gona kill you Hamilton.
Tuesday, June 10, 2008 9:27 PM

I've always said I've got nothing against this Brit driver who stunned the whole F1 Racing World in his debut season last year. Because he is really something. Despite him posing a huge threat to Kimi Raikkonen, I don't dislike him at all, in fact I respect him.

But he had to go make some stupid mistake like that on Sunday in the Canadanian GP. Imagine, a F1 driver didn't STOP AT RED LIGHT. Gosh, even a 3 year old won't make that mistake. Regardless of how stupid the rule is to have traffic light at the pit lane, it is still rule. Kimi stopped at the red, but Hammy apparently didn't see it, so he crashed into the back of Kimi. Oh wheee, both are out of the race.

Kimi said he's not angry, but unhappy. Because everyone make mistake. He did in the last race in Monaco. But it's different when you are going at 200 smth km/h and strolling in the pit lane!

As a result, Kubica is leading the Championship now. Great. Things are getting more interesting now. I just hope it won't do any damage to Kimi's retaining the title or Hammy winning his 1st. Because to be honest, I want Kimi to win the title but if he can't make it, I don't mind Hammy. Not Massa. Not Alonso. Yeahh, I still got nothing against Hammy, just pissed off as hell. Oh well, at least he'll be punished next race. Relegated 10 place at the starting grid.

Home sweet home.
Sunday, May 25, 2008 10:42 PM

Ahhh, it's so nice to be home. 2 weeks feel like forever. The bed looks so inviting now. BUT I'm pissed.

Got home at 9.45pm, switched on the TV first thing to check the status on Monaco GP. The safety car was out on track, and apparently Kimi is 5th. And then the safety car went in, and to cut the story short, Kimi did the DUMBEST ever move since I started watching him years and years and years ago. Out from the tunnel, pushed(too) hard to try to get pass Adrian Sutil's Force India who's in front of him. And he ended up kissing the Force India's ass and lost the front nose.

Oh come on Kimi! He should've known better when it is possible to over take and when it is NOT. He's a World Champion FFS. Bloody hell. So kiasu for what, 5th also not bad what. Compared to the outcome of driving like a nuts! Poor Sutil, he was out of the race after the accident and was inconsolable in the garage.

Kimi's 2nd on the driver's championship board 3 points behind Hamilton and Massa is right on his tail with just only 1 point short. He of all people should know how every points count. If he fail to retain the title, he blew it himself. This MAY be the turning point. I would strangle him if he's right in front of me now. I will. If Massa overtakes him in the board, ever, I'm gonna KILL him too. And that's Kimi, mind you. Oh why are you such a dumbass Kimi!!! So KIASU for what?!!!! I wana swear so badly.

Is the weekend here yet?
Thursday, May 22, 2008 6:17 PM

I want it to be here FAST.

Not only it means that I'll be all done with this bloody finals and I get to go home and all, and Roland Garros is kicking off, it's also the Monaco Grand Prix! It's seriously racing at its best. Narrow track, tight corners, WITHOUT traction control, more wheel spins, and hence drivers without great skill are going to get it big time. It's a real drivers' track I guess. There's no margin for error. So, Massa would you stop harping about how dangerous it is to be driving without traction control at a track like this and how Monte Carlo is not your favorite GP and blahhh? Just shut up and drive. (no pun intended) What makes Monaco interesting besides the tunnel and the beautiful scenery is that it's unpredictable. It's 50-50. Anyways, checked the 1st practice results and Kimi is looking good! Woohoo, can't wait.

Oh yeah, have I ever mention that Nelson Piquet Jr. is hot? He is.

Looks a bit like Julio Ramirez, no?

And apparently, the drivers are going to hit the runway for a charity event on Friday. We are going the Roland Garros way I see. *trying to wipe the image of Nole's stride last year out of my mind* Kimi is not on the list of driver models(sounds weird), but apparently he will be specially featured or something. Need. To. Get. My. Hands. On. Those. Photos. Yes.
